What is Helpline for ICSE Students (Class 10)?
Helpline for ICSE Students (Class 10) aka icsehelpline101 is a platform by the students, for the students. Of course, parents and teachers of ICSE students are also welcome here. 🙂
What is its purpose?
This platform has been created to mainly help students who find it difficult to cope with studies in tenth grade. We post notes, tips, and study material for the ICSE Class 10 Board Exams to guide students like us. Having been through tenth grade once, we know what it’s like to have to push yourself to the limit. You will find a mentor, guide, and a friend in us. 🙂
Who runs the blog?
Helpline for ICSE Students (Class 10) is run by a former tenth grade student of ICSE who goes by the name ICSE Helper. She scored 95.33 percent in her board exams with the help of her ever-supportive school teachers and parents.
ICSE Helper created this platform in 2013 during the summer break following her tenth grade board exams so that she could share her notes and tips with fellow students.
You will also see her sharing notes from other tenth grade students who are readers of the blog and have willingly contributed their notes for the purpose of this blog. We are ever grateful to them! 🙂

Here is a recommendation for your site –
have the notes in a clear page instead of us scrolling down to look for it…
(If you have already done it please tell me where I can get the notes from a one page link)
Another advice-
Have a facebook page… It will help in making the page more famous.

Hi there!
Thank you very much for this valuable suggestion. We have taken your thoughts into consideration and have come up with the following page, Quick Links, wherein you will have access to all the notes from one page.
We have also been contemplating the launch of the blog’s own Facebook page and shall look into the same at the earliest.
We are glad to have proactive readers such as you. Do keep visiting and let us know how you find the above page. If there are any changes or suggestions for the same, please let us know through the comments section or our Contact Us form.

Jhanvi,
I am sorry, but that is kind of illegal. I cannot scan and upload an entire textbook without the publishers’ permission – it would be quite unfair. I would suggest that you directly contact the publishers and order a book.

I wud like to request a post on how to develop interest in boring subjects(at least for me!!) like Hindi and geo. I had also previously commented on another post asking advice on how to make notes. U had given quite a substantial reply and had also told tht u shall be writing a post for the same. If possible pls include also how to make notes directly from the textbook as well.
Thank u and eagerly awaiting your reply and congrats once more

Hello and thanks for stopping by our blog! 🙂
Tips? I would say, don’t think about it a lot but do keep in mind that the grades you get in your tenth Board Examinations will stay with you throughout and will have a great say in determining which college you go to for higher studies, especially outside of India. With that in mind, give it your best and work hard this year. Our senior told us that hard work, pure work, and honest work will make all the difference. Don’t sweat it but know that no matter how large the syllabus, it will work to enhance your knowledge. Take an interest in your subjects and you will find the remembering/memorizing part much easier.
Good luck for the upcoming year and thanks for showing us your support! Keep visiting and happy blogging! 🙂

How can improve in maths and chemistry?
LikeLike
Hi Anu!
Something that I recommend to everyone is to take an interest in your studies. Tell yourself that you love to study; that math and chemistry are your favorite subjects! Change your outlook, and never look at math and chemistry as a difficulty, but instead, as an opportunity to improve yourself.
Practically, you can also try practicing math frequently. Set aside 30-60 minutes every day to practice math. Solve each and every example given in your textbook. Examples are given for a reason – to help you understand the basics and help you to solve any kind of sum you some across. For chemistry, I would suggest writing down 10-15 equations every day and memorizing them. Ask someone at home or a friend to quiz you and see if you remember them. If not, learn them again by WRITING. The more you will write the equations, the less prone you will be to making mistakes. You can also try making charts for comparative study of chapters such as Nitric Acid, Sulphuric Acid, HCl, Ammonia, etc.
If you need more help, please don’t hesitate to ask! Thank you! 🙂
