ICSE History: First Phase of Indian National Movement (NOTES)

One of our readers, Sudheeksha, recently contributed her ICSE Class 10 Notes on The First Phase of the Indian National Movement.  We are indebted to her for the help and are delighted to finally share her material with you.

Her revision notes have been organized point-wise according to the sub-topic. This kind of presentation of the theory will help you remember the points easily and recall them when writing your exam. Also, as we have mentioned in our last minute tips on writing the ICSE History Board Exam Paper, one should write answers in History in points without excessive elaboration.

So, keeping that in mind, we hope Sudheeksha’s concise notes help you in your preparation for the ICSE History Board Exam!

UPDATE as on 25th December, 2018: As reader Chaitanya Tejaswi has pointed out, in the above notes, it should read ‘No taxation without representation’ instead of ‘No representation without taxation’ on Page 1 under the heading “Objectives” –> “Constitutional Reforms”.

    there’s a mistake that i noticed in the notes…
It’s in the first page under objective sub-topic.
The last point which says: No representation without taxation
while it should be: No taxation without representation
