Question for the Day #5

I was waiting for someone to answer the previous question and it has been two days since the question was posted, yet we have received no answer. So, here is the answer to the previous question: A meandering river may form an island (landform). A meandering river, being a river in its middle course,  also indicates a flat gradient due to reduced gravity and velocity, and land which is suitable for agriculture.

[My apologies for incorrectly writing the first half of the question – instead of ‘island’, it was supposed to be ‘landform’. ]

Question for the Day: What do you conclude on observing the following: (a) smell of rotten eggs, (b) reddish-brown gas, (c) gas that turns lime water milky, (d) greenish-yellow gas, (e) a gas that produces a ‘pop’ sound on coming in contact with oxygen, (f) a gas that extinguishes a flame on coming in contact with it, and (g) dense white fumes.

Good luck! Hoping we receive more feedback than last time! Leave your answer in the comment section below and we will update this tomorrow with the correct answer! 🙂

        Ritvik,

Frankly, all chapters are important. I did not study As You Like It, hence I cannot help you with that but for History, I would suggest giving an overall focus on short questions and answers since they canbe asked from anywhere. Features, objectives, powers, etc. are important in History and Civics. Anything where you may be asked ‘Name the following’ or ‘Give reasons’ are also important. Exactly which chapters you should focus on would depend on the paper pattern throughout the years. You could analyze the previous years’ board papers and see if there has been repetition of questions from any specific chapters or if there is any special pattern.

If you need any further help, please don’t hesitate to ask! Thank you and keep visiting! 🙂

      Ishan,

Congratulations on getting all answers correct! However, you missed out on the second option in (b) and one more sub-question although it may have been because of a misprint on our behalf. Keep up the good work and thank you for visiting us! 🙂

      Shrish,

Congratulations on getting all answers correct! You did, however, miss out on the first ‘(c)’ but that was our mistake. It has been corrected and there are a total of seven sub-questions now. 🙂
Keep up the good work and thank you for visiting!
