a. The mother said, “Son, don’t get up from the seat till your father retuns.”

The mother asked her son not to get up from the seat before his father returned.

Or

The mother asked her son not to get up from the seat till his father’s return.

 

b. The boatman told the passengers, “If you don’t pay the fair in full, I will not ferry you.”

The boatman told the passengers that he would not ferry them if they did not pay the fares. 

Or

The boatman refused to ferry the passengers if they did not pay their fares.

c. The leader told the gathering, “If I am elected, I will have loans sanctioned to you to buy sewing machines.”

The leader promised the gathering that he would have loans sanctioned to them to buy sewing machines, if he was elected.
