      Shubhra,

First off, there is nothing wrong with you! It’s all a part and parcel of being a student – we all face such difficult times at one point or the other during our life. What you should do to tackle this problem is:

      * Identify the reason why you are feeling distracted – is it electronics, looking out of the window, daydreaming, etc.?
      * Ask yourself if you can do anything to prevent this from happening – for example, tell your parent(s) to hide your phone/tablet/music player, etc.; draw the curtains if you feel compelled to look out of the window, set a timer for 20 minutes and make it a point to concentrate for those 20 minutes.
      * Listen to some calm music. Music means only sounds – no wordings. Classical music or ‘white noise’ can help you. You can search for meditation music on the internet and that can definitely help you to increase your concentration power. You can also visit this website: http://www.calm.com.
      * Keep yourself motivated to study by putting up inspiring quotes on your wall or closet. I have numerous quotes plastered on my closet door and everyday, I make it a point to read them. They automatically motivate me to work hard and not give up no matter what.

Hope this helped! If you need more tips, don’t hesitate to ask! Thank you and keep visiting!ūüôā
